Are you tired of old rental planes? Want to fly late-model airplanes with all the options? Unlike most flight schools and rental facilities, we chose our fleet with deliberation. We set out to find the best aircraft for each mission, while ensuring there is a logical progression through our fleet as your proficiency and horizons expand. After diligent research and much experience, we found that Diamond Aircraft were head and shoulders above the rest for our piston engine fleet. This is due to Diamond’s combination of engineering purity, modern design and commitment to safety. All of our aircraft at BCF use G1000 with the GFC AP, from DA40 to C510.

When researching a light jet that embodies a pilot-centric approach to transportation, we found our answer closer to home. We love the Diamond DA40. Its predictable and safe handling characteristics make it an ideal primary training aircraft, while its modern design allows for a cruise speed in excess of 140 knots. This means the plane you train is in a plane you can go far in.

The excellent visibility from the cockpit combined with the traffic awareness provided by the G1000 greatly enhances safety, especially when operating in congested airspace.

The DA40 was the first to use Garmin G1000, which is now the standard in new aircraft. This avionics suite combined with the aircraft’s handling characteristics make an excellent IFR platform.

Diamond DA42 Twin

Diamond Twin Star DA42

No other plane, big or small, compares to the Diamond DA42 Twin. It combines all the newest innovations, including the G1000 and GFC 700 AP, to create a massively capable, robust aircraft that turns heads while leading the way in fuel efficiency. In short, it is a carbon fiber, FADEC-controlled, jet-fuel-sipping, twin engine, glass cockpit, 1000 nm-range, deiced, not-so-furry little monster. We have a fully loaded 2015 DA42VI. There are few planes in which you can fly across the Atlantic comfortably, while deciding to drop down for a peek to fly between icebergs on the way.

Mustang Simulator

Citation Mustang Flight Simulator

Our Mustang simulator is one of only two in North America. The other is at our sister school in Long Beach, Angel City Flyers.

By commissioning a motion-based, aircraft-specific simulator and attaining FAA on-site approval as an Advanced Aviation Training Device, we have added a unique training ability and attained insurance approval for our Citation Mustang training courses.

Along with a high degree of aircraft and systems fidelity, this device includes a worldwide visual and navigation database, and the ability to simulate scenarios and emergencies unavailable to other simulation-only training establishments.
